Job Description

Job Title: JavaScript Developer (4-7 Years)

Location: Mainly in Thomson area. Sometimes in Bishan area

Experience: 4-7 Years

Project Overview:

• Join a project involving a newly deployed web-based tool.
• Post-deployment, future business requirements and enhancements for the tool are yet to be defined.

Role & Responsibilities:

• Maintain and enhance the existing JavaScript code for the web-based tool.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand future business needs as they are defined.
• Develop and implement new features, enhancements, and bug fixes in JavaScript.
• Ensure code quality, performance, and adherence to best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and provide technical recommendations.

Skills & Requirements:

• Strong expertise in JavaScript (ES6+), with 4-7 years of experience.
• Experience with front-end frameworks/libraries (React, Angular, or similar) is preferred.
• Good understanding of web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, AJAX, JSON).
• Ability to work independently and manage evolving requirements.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Experience in maintaining and enhancing existing codebases.

Nice to Have:

• Knowledge of version control systems like Git.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodology.
