Job Description – Architect

Technical architect required with strong technical expertise in latest technologies and trend to propose highly scalable future ready solution. Good familiarity with frontend and backend technologies. He/She must be familiar with software design methods and techniques. Ideally, he/she must also have good communication and analytical skills and good at analyzing both the business and technical requirements for a software program and develop design solutions to meet the needs.

 

• Proven experience as software architect
• Very strong problem solving and analytical skills
• Experience in latest technologies and trend to propose highly scalable future ready solution
• Ability to learn new platforms, frameworks and programming languages and adopt changes
• Ability to propose technological transformation and innovative solutions to customer
• Ability to monitoring the work of other Architects and making recommendations or scheduling workshops as required
• Excellent knowledge of software and application design and architecture
• Excellent knowledge of UML and other modeling methods
• Familiarity with HTML/CSS, JavaScript and UI/UX design
• Self-starter and highly motivated with passion for emerging technologies and trends
• Ability to understand “as is” system and should be able to define/recommend target architecture along with evolution and roadmap
• Ability to evaluate and recommend tools/technologies/solution based on research and study supported by proof of concept
• Ability to capture requirements, perform analysis and create architecture & design (OOAD)
• Ability to translate requirements to working, robust and scalable software. 
• Good working knowledge of application maintenance and development project being executed in different life cycles i.e. waterfall, iterative, v-Model, agile etc.
• Draws specialized knowledge of analysis especially in influencing business requirement taking feasibility and constraints into consideration
• Mentoring designers through the detailed design process
• Reviewing designs as they are completed to ensure conformance to the system’s architectural principles, arbitrating technology disputes

 

Mandatory technical skills:

• Must have good aptitude and analytical skills
• Must have hands-on experience on various CI/CD and DevOps tools
• Must have hands-on experience in Application security and application performance management tools – Jprofiler/JMeter etc.
• Handson experience of estimation, its reviews, sizing projects
• Java & Frameworks : Spring, Java Springboot, Junit, JaxB, JHipster
• Java Script Framework : Angular/React
• Good knowledge of programming platforms and languages like: Go, Groovy, Play
• Knowledge of Cucumber, Undertow
• Working experience of Agile/SCRUM/Kanban methodologies
• Good working understanding on Micro services, Docker and Kubernetes
• Must have experience in software development and coding in various languages (Java, PL/SQL etc. and knowledge on .Net)
• Must have strong hands on experience in working software engineering Tools and integrating them using scripts / open source / JAVA / J2EE
• Good to have lead or part of 1 or 2 technological transformation journey for customer 
• Experience or knowledge of React, JQuery, NodeJS, Elastic Search, Docker, Python, Scala & VBA
• Total Experience Expected: 08-10 years
