Job Description.
What You'll Do
You will be responsible for technical lead duties in the Ingestion and Data Platform team. In this role you will:
Develop and/or oversee the creation of detailed Java application from requirements and high level architectural design documentation.
Provide work direction for other technical resources.
Coordinate and track project work with onsite and offshore resources.
Complete feature development along with team in an agile/scrum manner.

Ideally, you will have a Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience in a related career field. In addition we require:
5+ years of experience with Java development.
2+ Years of Experience in AKKA, Scala technologies.
3+ years of experience with Object-oriented analysis and design (OOAD).
3+ years of experience with the Software Development Process and working with offshore development teams.
3+ years of experience with Agile/Kanban and XP coding practices.
A strong candidate will also have:
Knowledge of web services, hibernate, JSON, AJAX, HTML5 and/or XML.
Ability to work with complex host applications requiring high performance and scalability.
Integration experience.
Experience with iterative development.
