• Preparing ideas for refactoring.
• Taking care of high-level design.
• Acting as a senior developer within the team, with leadership experience.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn new things in a professional manner.
• Supporting business stakeholders and product owners on technical aspects of requests and delivery.
• Explaining technical concepts in simple terms to product owners and business stakeholders.
• Embedding innovation into daily routines.
• Verifying that approaches are aligned with architecture and approved (new components/processes).
• Participating in daily work with developers.
• Having deep knowledge of business processes and requirements.
• Working closely with the Java Competence Lead and other Tech Leads to improve and optimize processes.
• Promoting operational excellence.
• Performing some administrative tasks with team members.
• Conducting technical interviews.
• 7+ years of experience in Java development (Fintech industry experience is a plus).
• Experience with Java 21, Spring, Hibernate.
• Experience in clean REST API design.
• Knowledge of SQL, MySQL.
• Experience with Kafka and SOUP.
• Hands-on experience as a Technical Leader is a plus.
• Very good level of English.
Nice to have
• Experience with Spring Boot migration.
• Hands-on experience with DDD (Domain-Driven Design) or hexagonal architecture.
• Experience in decoupling monolithic applications.
• Work model: Remote with occasional visits to the office 
• Type of contract: B2B
• Start: ASAP-1 month
• Rate: up to 180 PLN/H net + VAT
