Garmin Connect: Our team develops software solutions for Garmin Connect, which is the platform for tracking and analyzing health and fitness data gathered from all our devices. The Connect ecosystem relies on complex technical solutions with multiple microservices which work together to process, categorize and leverage all the information provided by activity trackers, running watches, smart scales, etc.

Garmin Golf: This is a comprehensive platform of devices and apps (including wearables, sensors, simulators and a mobile app), designed to help golfers improve their game, connect with others, and enjoy a more engaging golfing experience. Users can track scores, view scorecards, and gain insights into their performance.

You will:

• Help, process and optimize data on Garmin Connect and Garmin Golf that support millions of users worldwide
• Take on complex, high performance challenges with cutting-edge technologies
• Collaborate with an international team to solve challenges in multiple industries

Requirements:
• Strong knowledge of Java and OOP principles.
• Proven experience in designing, enhancing and developing complex Java microservices using Spring Boot (experience in cloud-native application development is a plus).
• Strong understanding of Spring Framework.
• Good knowledge of web services (REST).
• Knowledgeable about relational or non-relational databases.
• Good knowledge of unit testing.
• Good understanding of design patterns.
• Good usage skills of development tools (source control, development environment, issue tracking).
• Good knowledge of building tools and continuous delivery.
• 5+ years of relevant work experience.
• Excellent English speaking and writing skills.
• Team player.
