Role & Responsibilities

You will be core member of team that designs and implements our on-premise and cloud based network collector:

Challenging role to develop and sustain network data collection software that is highly secure and yet works at very high scale to interact with thousands of devices in a very heterogeneous network

Will be responsible for software development of network and device management solutions

Develop software which factors all security considerations and practices

Develop high quality of software with complex algorithms to achieve high efficiency and scaling in interacting with thousands of network elements

Collaborate with other leads, product managers and architects to understand the end customer use of the software

Collaborate and work with diverse team that is geographically spread

Qualifications-

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelors/Masters Degree in Engineering with 3 to 7 years of industry experience

3+ years of experience in network programming, RPC

Excellent programming skills in Java and other scripting languages such as shell scripting

Fairly good understanding Linux/Unix OS and commands

Good understanding relational Databases, JDBC

Familiarity with Agile process and methodologies

Experience in development in Graphic User Interface (GUI)/GWT

Basic understanding of Networking, TCP/IP, SNMP, SSH, HTTPS, WSG

Experience in development in Graphic User Interface (Angularjs/Javascript frameworks)

Experience in developing applications using Java Rest Web services

Desired Skills-

Good Java Development background

Network management knowledge. Cisco device, IOS knowledge.

Experience with Open source software

Agile software development methodology and agility to adapt to changing needs

Experience in development in Graphic User Interface (GUI)/GWT

Familiarity in various virtualization internet security technologies

Networking certification [CCNA, CCNP] or Java certification is a value add.
