Our client is seeking a Java/J2EE developer with MongoDB experience. Responsibilities include:

• Design and planning of architecture to support goals of the project
• Develop large scale complex applications that are deployed to a distributed architecture
• Assist development teams in activities such as load testing, troubleshooting, and performance tuning
• Design highly scalable databases and develop applications against a relational database required
• Utilizes expert knowledge of J2EE and Java development to troubleshoot technical issues (error messages, software bugs, performance )
• Proactively communicates with the development, QA teams and management to anticipate configuration management issues/process and project issues
• Proactively seeks opportunities to implement improvements to internal team processes
• Ensures that all best practices and enterprise standards are followed

• Bachelor’s Degree (8 years of additional relevant technical management experience may be substituted for education)
• 5+ years experience analyzing, designing and implementing integration solutions using J2EE technologies or related technologies
• 8-10 years experience with multiple programming technologies, including Java, XML/XSLT/WSDL, Spring/Hibernate, Web Services
• Strong skills designing highly scalable databases and developing applications against a relational database required.
• Hands-on experience developing message-oriented integration solutions with Java
• Key technical experience in areas such as J2EE, XML, Web Services and SOA
• Experience with a wide variety of testing tools and techniques, ex. JUnit, Cucumber
• Experience working with NoSQL database stores such as MongoDB is strongly desired
• Thorough understanding of Scrum/Agile
• Experience working in a fast paced, agile environment
• Must have excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must be a proven team player
