Java Identity Engineer - CIAM

We are looking for an experienced Identity Engineer with strong Java and Cloud expertise to support and deliver CIAM-related workstreams. The ideal candidate will design and build secure identity solutions, integrate modern authentication standards, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance Customer Identity and Access Management capabilities.

Requirements:
Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain identity services and integrations in Java.
• Support and deliver CIAM-related workstreams, including authentication, authorization, and identity lifecycle workflows.
• Implement and integrate IAM standards such as OAuth2.0, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML.
• Work with cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure) for application deployment, identity management, and service integrations.
• Build scalable microservices and APIs for identity-related functionalities.
• Collaborate with product, security, and engineering teams to design secure identity architectures.
• Troubleshoot identity issues and improve system reliability, performance, and security.

Must-Have Skills

• Strong, hands-on experience in Java and backend development.
• Proven experience working with Cloud platforms (Azure preferred).
• Experience building APIs, microservices, and integration workflows.

Nice-to-Have

• Experience in Kotlin and Micronaut framework.
• Knowledge of CIAM protocols and standards (OAuth, OIDC, SAML)
• Exposure to Azure AD / Azure B2C, application registrations, and identity integrations.
• Understanding of modern authentication, token-based access, and API security.

Good to Have

• Experience in identity governance and access management tools.
• Understanding of security best practices and cloud architecture patterns.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
