Job Specific Description
• Supports technical processes across different Java/J2EE technologies.
• Work closely with business and technical teams
• Understanding of the design and development of the project lifecycle
• Coding, Unit Testing and Component Integration Testing.
• Creation and maintenance of system, functional and reference documentation.
• Provide support during testing phases as required.
• Understand the strategy, needs of business units and assist global teams in development of technology roadmaps
• Follow relevant coding/design standards & high level design principles.
• Ensure that the design and development is conforming to best practices, standards and technical design.
• Constantly looks for opportunities on Efficiency improvement / Productivity Savings
• Drives and lives by the culture of innovation resulting in highly efficient teams looking to improve operational efficiency
• Takes ownership of day to day issues and escalations and brings issues to resolution.
• Drive process improvements and innovation
Qualifications:
Required Skills:
• Proven expertise in Java/J2EE, OOPS, Servlets, JSP, JavaScript, Autosys, Spring, SQL/PL-SQL, UNIX, Web Services, Web Logic 10.x or above, JMS
• Experience in Activiti BPM, Drools Rule Engine
• Exposure to Banking and financial industry
• Conduct coding, Unit Testing and Component Integration Testing and interact with business partners for testing sign off.
• Stakeholder Relationship and project management
• Adopt unit testing methodologies; enforce code quality using coding standards defined
