Java Developer with SNMP Experience

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain Java-based software solutions for network management and monitoring.
• Implement and integrate SNMP v1/v2/v3 protocols for device monitoring and control.
• Work with MIBs, OIDs, and Trap Handling using SNMP4J or relevant SNMP libraries.
• Develop REST APIs using Spring/Spring Boot for data access and management.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure code quality.
• Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving coding standards.
• Document software designs and implementations.
• Work in a Linux environment, utilizing shell scripts and commands for development and deployment.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
• 4 to 8 years of experience in Java software development.
• Strong hands-on experience in Core Java, Collections, Multithreading, and OOPs concepts.
• Experience with SNMP v1/v2/v3, MIBs, OIDs, Trap Handling, and SNMP4J or relevant SNMP libraries.
• Good understanding of Networking concepts: IP, TCP/UDP, Routing basics.
• Experience in Spring / Spring Boot and REST APIs development.
• Hands-on experience in a Linux environment (commands, shell scripts).
• Experience with NMS/EMS applications or network monitoring systems is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of protocol debugging tools (Wireshark, tcpdump, SNMP testers).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must be able to join within Immediate to 30 days notice period.
