Java Developer (Junior)

We have an immediate opportunity for a client facing Java Developer to work alongside an entrepreneurial team of developers on projects for an impressive list of large Global 1000 clients. Qualified candidates shall be expected to travel up to 40%. Experience working with content management systems such as Interwoven, Percussion, Stellant, SiteCore, or Ektron is desired, but not required as extensive training will be provided for the right candidates.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Responsible for performing implementation and integration of web based systems.

• Work with project teams to determine system specifications, integration points and software interfaces to meet client and project requirements.

• Plans, optimizes and negotiates changes to scope and schedules with internal and external team members.

• Adopts and utilizes iterative and waterfall methodologies as needed or requested (Agile, Scrum, RUP).

• 4 year degree in Computer Science or related field. Technical certifications would be a plus.

• 3+ years professional related experience in Java and object-oriented application development (OOAD).

• Excellent object oriented programming, unit testing, debugging and code organization skills.

• Demonstrate analytic and problem-solving skills, particularly as it relates to application design, development and infrastructure.

• Self-directed and motivated technical team member capable of delivering reliable and maintainable solutions.

• Strong verbal and written communications.
