What are we looking for?

We are looking for a Java Backend Developer to contribute in a project with one of our global customers in wealth management. We are building a very strong team comprised of high caliber professionals that will work closely with the client’s IT and Business stakeholders to deliver impactful programs.

You will have the opportunity to work on challenging projects with talented colleagues in an international environment while developing your domain knowledge working for a top company.

Work model is hybrid in Madrid (3 days at the office, 2 WFH), feel free to apply if you are also open for relocation!

Skills

Proven delivery experience in Software Engineering using industry standards such as test oriented development using TDD and BDD.
Understanding of DevOps concepts such as CI/CD and the importance and value of automated testing.
Design, deploy, and manage applications using Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, and related technologies.
Manage containerized applications in a cloud-native environment (Azure, etc).
Willingness to learn new ways of working while supporting Julius Baer to transform itself.
You take pride of your work and strive to lead by example.
Master or Bachelor in Computer Science or any other related area, or proven relevant working experience.
Very good English level
Our stack: Java, Springboot. Service oriented architecture, RESTful services, SQL (Oracle), Kubernetes, Docker, Helm, GitLab, Jenkins, Streaming using Kafka, Avro, Open API, UML

Work location: Madrid

Work mode: Hybrid (3 days at the office, 2 WFH)
