12+ years of experience, having been a Java technical architect for one project at a minimum. He should be expert in several Java / J2EE technologies, frameworks, application and webservers, third party implementation libraries. The list includes and not limited to OSGi, JBoss, Websphere, weblogic, Tomcat, Hibernate, struts, spring, JaxB, Webservices, jBPM, etc. He should also be adept at database architecture having worked in at least two of the following databases namely, Oracle, MS SQL, DB2, Sybase IQ. He is expected to absorb any third party libraries, platforms, suite and ensure that the knowledge is percolated across the team.

· DESIGN PATTERNS EXPERIENCE A MUST

· Prepare Architecture, Design documents based on Requirements using UML

· Analyze and come-up with any gaps in requirements as well as manage the requirements lifecycle

· Participate in client discussions and workshops. Co-ordinate with onsite/client for any clarifications

· Prepare estimates and WBS using standard estimation techniques

· Monitor and review the Project for technical quality and delivery

· Adhere to team mgmt functionalities with a willingness to travel

· Provide the status to all the stakeholders (internal/external) in a timely manner
