Job Description
The Assistant Manager will serve as the SME for onboarding SSGA clients on the billing application, addressing any setup issues and implementing appropriate process controls. The role requires strong Japanese language skills to interpret contracts and communicate effectively with relationship managers
Primary Job Duties and Responsibilities
Handle onboarding activities, including interpreting IMA agreements and fee schedules, and addressing complex setups while ensuring zero quality issues.
Develop a thorough understanding of the end-to-end Revenue Management Cycle, including client account setup, account maintenance, monthly accruals, true-ups, client invoicing, and accounts receivable. Take ownership of all activities and tasks within the group.
Enhance team productivity by implementing strategic solutions and guiding the team toward achieving organizational goals and objectives.
Monitor client and stakeholder concerns and ensure timely resolution.
Demonstrate strong reading and analytical skills, with the ability to review Investment Management Agreements, rebate letters, and accurately interpret fee schedules.
Minimum Job Specifications
Strong domain knowledge of the Asset Management industry, with operational experience in accounting, onboarding, invoicing, or other finance functions.
Hands-on experience in client onboarding, including exposure to IMA agreements and fee schedules.
Working knowledge of accounting principles, particularly revenue recognition (added advantage).
Excellent teamwork and collaboration skills, with a strong client focus and commitment to business delivery. Proficient in written and verbal communication.
Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities and meet both internal and external deadlines effectively.
Bachelor’s or master’s degree (or equivalent qualification), along with Japanese Language Certification.
