TEAM
The Dojo Language team works within the Learning & Development team. Our team aspires to be the driving force behind developing the leadership, mindset, and professional growth of employees at Woven by Toyota.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?
As a Japanese Instructor for the Dojo Language team you will be responsible for implementing a variety of language lessons for adult learners at Woven by Toyota. You will report directly to the Language Program team lead. As a Dojo Language instructor it will be your job to improve employees’ communication ability. This is a crucial responsibility given the diverse workforce at Woven by Toyota.

RESPONSIBILITIES
For students
・Conduct one-on-one and group Japanese lessons for employees (ranging from first time learners to advanced learners)
・Teach according to the program curriculum
・Create long term learning plans for individual students to accelerate learning

For team
・Participate in project initiatives within the team, e.g. curriculum development, as assigned
・Any other tasks as assigned by the program leadership

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
• Japanese: Native level / English: Conversational level
• Japanese language instructor certificate or equivalent experience
• 5+ years of Japanese language teaching experience
• 3+ years of experience teaching at corporations

NICE TO HAVES:
• Experience with the Google ecosystem (G Mail, Google Docs, etc.)
• Agile or Scrum knowledge/background is a big plus
