Primark, an international Fashion Retail company with 20 stores in Italy and more than 5,000 colleagues, continues its expansion by opening new stores in the upcoming months.

We’re looking for a digitally savvy, fashion‑obsessed Senior Marketing Manager to grow our brand presence across all channels in Italy.

You will join our team in Milan Head Office, reporting to the Marketing Director in Dublin.

This role will play a leading part in delivering our global integrated, full‑funnel marketing campaigns in the Italian market — spanning brand awareness, consideration, conversion, and retention activity.

Ideal for an ambitious marketer with 7+ years’ experience, this role blends digital execution with broader brand marketing, retail support, and cross‑functional activation.

Aligned to the central team, you’ll work closely with the local retail team to deliver campaigns that are innovative, insight‑driven, and aligned with fashion‑forward storytelling whilst onboarding and managing local agencies as the right thought partners to supercharge our Italian ambition. 

Key Responsibilities

Full‑Funnel Campaign Delivery

• Work closely with the central team in Dublin & support the planning and execution of market‑wide, full‑funnel marketing campaigns in Italy ensuring an Italian point of view is within all comms development 
• Coordinate across brand, media, creative, PR, retail, and digital teams to ensure integrated delivery
• Localise global campaign assets for the Italian market, ensuring cultural relevance and fashion credibility
• Manage timelines, campaign calendars, and cross‑functional communication throughout the campaign period
• Liaise with local retail and store teams to bring campaigns to life in‑store and support retail activation
• Track campaign results across awareness, engagement, traffic, and conversion metrics

Digital Marketing & Campaign Execution

• Support the centralised digital team in the planning, execution and optimisation of digital marketing campaigns across paid social, search, display, and video
• Own the localised media budget and media agency to ensure best‑in‑class performance
• Develop local campaign briefs that reflect brand tone, fashion trends, and local market insights

Website Support

• Support the centralised digital team in coordinating content updates across product pages, homepages, and editorial sections
• Support with onsite storytelling for product launches, seasonal campaigns, and fashion edits
• Work with the digital team to analyse traffic, onsite behaviour, and conversion data translating it locally to educate teams

Analytics & Reporting

• Working with the central team, track and report on marketing KPIs using analytics tools (Google Analytics, Meta Ads Manager, TikTok Ads Manager, etc.)
• Building and holding a tight relationship with our central insight team to ensure all marketing is tracking towards our long term brand health goals
• Prepare performance insights and recommendations for the wider Italian and centralised marketing teams
• Monitor competitor activity and industry trends, especially within affordable fashion and family fashion retail

General Brand Support

• Plan & execute PR initiatives, influencer activity, events, and seasonal campaign launches
• Ensure all marketing materials are on‑brand, cohesive, and fashion‑credible
• Collaborate with local retail teams to support in‑store marketing needs and align on key campaign moments

Required Skills & Experience

• 7+ years’ experience in marketing or digital marketing, ideally within fashion, beauty, retail, or lifestyle
• Fluent English
• Strong understanding of digital channels and social media platforms
• Excellent copywriting skills and a feel for fashion‑forward storytelling
• Ability to analyse data and translate insights into actionable recommendations
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with multiple projects
• Highly organised, proactive, and detail‑oriented
• Strong cross‑functional communication skills
• Desirable Skills• Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar content creation tools
• Basic understanding of paid media metrics (CTR, ROAS, CPA, CPM)
• Knowledge of SEO or email marketing platforms
• Passion for fashion trends, digital culture, and retail.
