Mercier Consultancy is currently seeking a dedicated Italian Speaking Customer Service Representative for our Client's Airline Reservations Department located in Athens. In this important role, you will provide high-quality support to Italian-speaking customers, assisting them with their airline reservation needs and travel inquiries.
Your fluency in Italian will enable you to effectively communicate with clients, guiding them through the booking process, managing changes or cancellations, and resolving any issues or questions they may have regarding their travel arrangements. Your commitment to excellent customer service will help ensure a smooth and positive experience for our travelers.
Responsibilities
• Deliver exceptional customer service in Italian via phone, email, and chat related to airline reservations and travel inquiries
• Assist customers with booking, modifying, and canceling flights
• Resolve customer complaints and issues promptly and professionally
• Accurately document all customer interactions in our CRM system
• Collaborate with airline partners to facilitate efficient reservation processes
• Collect customer feedback to help improve service quality
• Stay updated on airline policies, promotions, and travel industry trends
Requirements:
• Fluency in Italian and English with strong verbal and written communication skills
• Your nationality and native language must be clearly stated in your C.V. and/or Cover Letter.
• Proven customer service skills and ability to manage challenging situations
• Experience in customer service, ideally within the airline or travel industry, is preferred
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and provide timely solutions
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Interest in travel and helping customers with their journey planning
• Familiarity with CRM systems and customer support software is advantageous
