About the Role:

Ensuring the optimal operation of the company's IT and AV infrastructure in the broadcasting environment, through the design, implementation, monitoring, and maintenance of technical solutions that support production, post-production, live transmissions, and internal administration activities.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Designing and Adapting Technical Solutions:

Designs and adapts IT/AV solutions based on the company’s operational requirements (e.g., video workflows, studio architecture, transmission automation);

Translates organizational processes and workflows into clear technical requirements, collaborating with production and operations teams;

Selects and integrates new technologies adaptable to the specific needs of the media industry.

2. Installation, Configuration, and Maintenance of Equipment:

Installs, configures, and manages servers, workstations, peripheral devices, AV equipment, and media storage systems;

Ensures proper functioning of implemented technical solutions through prompt interventions and regular maintenance;

Modifies hardware/software configurations according to the evolving requirements of applications or media workflows.

3. IT/AV Infrastructure Administration:

Manages the company’s IT and AV infrastructure, including tracking equipment and software licenses;

Develops and implements backup, restore, and redundancy procedures for critical systems;

Establishes interconnection and interoperability of systems (AV/IP networks, cameras, production servers, playout systems, etc.).

4. Continuous Monitoring and Development:

Continuously monitors the performance of implemented IT/AV solutions;

Develops and optimizes the existing infrastructure in line with new technological and operational requirements;

Analyzes industry trends to propose modern, scalable, and efficient solutions.

5. Technical Support and Interventions:

Provides advanced technical support for users and production teams;

Ensures rapid interventions to resolve critical incidents, including 24/7 availability for essential transmission equipment;

Guides troubleshooting activities throughout the technical cycle – from problem identification to testing applied solutions.

6. Documentation and Training:

Develops user manuals and technical standards for operating equipment and applications;

Provides training for end users on the correct use of systems and equipment;

Maintains up-to-date documentation for the IT/AV infrastructure, including incident history and applied solutions.

Requirements:

Experience in managing IT and/or AV infrastructure in media production environments;

Strong knowledge of networks, servers, professional AV equipment, and media software;

Ability to analyze, document, plan, and resolve technical incidents.
