The Role
We’re looking for an IT Technician to join our dynamic Surry Hills studio. This role is responsible for delivering comprehensive IT support and infrastructure management across the studio. Success in this role requires strong technical expertise, excellent communication skills, and the ability to prioritise and resolve issues in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. Key duties include:
IT Infrastructure / Facilities Management; onsite support; phone, mobile and VC system support and implementation; email system management; manage office intranet and Helpdesk; meeting room IT set up and support; printer / plotter / 2D printer set up and support
Desktop & user set up; hardware maintenance/ allocation; technical support via HelpDesk
Manage and provide first line of IT support; liaise with managed service provider to ensure appropriate outsourcing of technical support
Induct and brief new team members on DKO standards and procedures; provide regular training/ upskilling of staff in IT best practices
Participate in weekly management meetings; participate in global BIM/ Design software meetings
Asset Management – software and hardware
Software deployment and Usage Tracking
Reporting progress tracking
Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in a IT Technician / Service desk role 2-3 years
Strong communication skills with a professional telephone manner
Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment
Proven experience providing exceptional customer service with a “can do” attitude towards problem-solving
Ability to multi-task and manage competing priorities
Proactive nature with demonstrated initiative and creativity
Previous experience within architectural or professional services environment desirable
Ability to work in a team environment
Excellent interpersonal skills to work effectively within a culturally diverse and multi-disciplinary environment
Effective organisation and time management skills to work efficiently towards deadlines
Well-developed interpersonal and communication skills.
Python scripting desirable
MS365 and Share point systems
Strong knowledge of Network and Server infrastructure
