Job Description
We are seeking a skilled IT Systems Administrator I with a minimum of 4 years of experience to manage and support our organization’s IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate has strong hands-on experience with SaaS administration, identity and access management, endpoint support, and automation-driven workflows. This role requires a proactive mindset, strong operational judgment, and the ability to balance security, scalability, and employee experience.
Key Responsibilities
• System Administration: Maintain, monitor, and troubleshoot IT systems including endpoints, identity platforms, and SaaS applications to ensure reliability and employee productivity.
• VPN Management: Configure, manage, and troubleshoot VPN solutions (e.g., Jamf, Tailscale) to provide secure remote access for employees and partners.
• Jira Administration: Administer and customize Jira, including workflows, automations, user permissions,SSO, MFA, group-based access controls,provisioning/deprovisioning, and integrations with other business systems.
• Google Workspace Management: Own day-to-day administration of Google Workspace, including user lifecycle management, security settings, and collaboration tools (Gmail, Drive, Calendar).
• Okta Administration: Support identity and access management through Okta,and provisioning/deprovisioning.
• Security & Compliance: Assist with implementation and monitoring of security controls, contributing to compliance efforts and internal IT policies.
• Technical Support: Provide Tier 2 support, resolving hardware, software, and access-related issues efficiently and professionally.
• Documentation: Create and maintain clear documentation for systems, processes, workflows, and troubleshooting procedures.
Collaboration: Partner with Security, People Ops, Engineering, and other teams to support IT initiatives and continuous improvement.
Requirements:
Qualifications
Education
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field (or equivalent practical experience).
Experience
• Minimum 4 years of experience in IT systems administration or a related role.
Core Technical Skills
• Hands-on experience with Jira administration and customization (workflows, automations, dashboards).
• Proven experience managing Google Workspace environments (Admin Console, security settings, user lifecycle).
• Experience with Okta for identity and access management (SSO, MFA, user lifecycle).
• Hands-on experience with Jamf Pro for macOS device management (enrollment, policies, configuration profiles, patch management).
• Familiarity with macOS, Windows, and/or Linux environments.
• Basic scripting or automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, or Json) is a plus.
• Experience with BetterCloud for SaaS lifecycle automation, access governance, and security workflows.
Nice to Have (Not Required)
• VDI experience, including exposure to virtual desktop environments (e.g., Azure Virtual Desktop, AWS WorkSpaces, Citrix, or similar).
• Experience with Aquera (or similar HRIS-to-IT automation platforms) for onboarding, offboarding, and employee change workflows.
• Exposure to IT automation, zero-touch provisioning, or workflow-driven IT operations.
• Strong understanding of VPN technologies, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.

• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.
• Clear, confident communication skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Ability to prioritize, execute, and adapt in a fast-moving environment.
• Ownership mindset with attention to detail and follow-through.
Certifications (Preferred, Not Required)
• Google Workspace Administrator
• Okta Certified Professional
• CompTIA Network+ or equivalent
• Jamf Certified Associate or higher
Benefits:

Salary Range $85,000 - $125,000
