Position Overview:
DeepSource Technologies is seeking an experienced IT Project/Program Manager to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing complex projects and programs within the IT sector, ensuring that our solutions meet business goals and are delivered on time and within scope. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and clients to drive project success and deliver high-quality technology solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead all phases of project management, including initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, and closure.
• Develop clear project goals, objectives, and deliverables that align with the overall business strategy.
• Coordinate resources, including team members and external vendors, to ensure project milestones are met.
• Facilitate regular status meetings with stakeholders, providing updates and managing expectations throughout the project lifecycle.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with projects, implementing strategies to minimize impacts on timelines and deliverables.
• Ensure accurate project documentation, including project plans, timelines, budgets, and reports.
• Continuously evaluate project performance, tracking key metrics and reporting on progress.
• Drive best practices in project management methodologies, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
• Mentor and support junior project managers and team members to foster professional growth and development.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in project and program management in an IT environment.
• Strong understanding of various project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
• Excellent leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
• Proficient in project management tools (e.g., Jira, Asana, MS Project) and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Strong analytical and logical thinking abilities, with a focus on problem-solving and decision-making.
• Relevant project management certification (PMP, PRINCE2, or similar) is highly desirable.
• Experience with software development projects and familiarity with emerging technologies is a plus.
