We are seeking an experienced IT Portals and Web Architect specializing in Azure web technology, ecommerce and Sitecore applications to join our team in Norman, Oklahoma. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cutting-edge customer portals and architectures that cater to the unique needs of the Residential and Light Commercial business.
• Design and implement scalable, secure, and user-friendly web portals for our Distributor, Branch and Dealer Customers
• Develop and maintain the overall web architecture, ensuring optimal performance and functionality
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications
• Integrate various systems and APIs to create seamless user experiences
• Implement and maintain content management systems (CMS) for easy updates and management
• Ensure web portals are responsive and compatible across multiple devices and browsers
• Conduct regular security audits and implement best practices to protect user data
• Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies and industry trends, particularly in smart home and light commercial applications
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues as they arise
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 5+ years of experience in web architecture and development, with a focus on Azure and .Net technologies.
• Proficiency in web development languages, including HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Strong experience with content management systems (CMS) and database management systems
• Expertise in responsive web design and user experience (UX) principles
• In-depth knowledge of web security best practices and implementation
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, SalesForce
• Experience in designing and implementing portals for ecommerce use cases
• Experience with ERP systems such as SAP ECC, SAP S/4, NxTrend
• Relevant certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect or Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect are a plus
• Magento and Adobe Cloud Commerce exerience is a plus
