IT Operations Center Engineer

For the IT Operations Center Engineer position, we expect you to:

• Monitor the performance status and capacity of computer systems and network devices.
• Perform regular maintenance on computer systems and network equipment.
• Conduct daily administration tasks for systems and network devices.
• Manage and maintain backup processes.
• Monitor and respond to security alerts.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for computer systems and network equipment.
• Respond to system alerts and hardware malfunctions.
• Handle user-reported incidents and process any change requests.
• Participate in the design and implementation of projects.

Requirements:

• University/College Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline from a Greek or international institution.
• Minimum of 3 years of proven experience with Windows Server Operating Systems and strong knowledge of Microsoft technologies.
• Experience with System Center tools (SCVMM - SCOM - SCCM) and/or Active Directory are considered an asset.
• Technical expertise in the Microsoft Azure platform (Deployment and configuration of IaaS and PaaS services, Azure Resource Management using Azure Portal, Security and compliance utilizing Azure Active Directory, Role-Based Access Control (RBAC), and Azure Policy).
• Experience and technical knowledge in Microsoft Hyper-V virtualization platform (Creation and management of virtual machines,Utilization of advanced features such as Live Migration, Storage Migration).
• Familiarity with the configuration and installation of network devices and services.
• Strong communication skills.
• Effective problem - solving skills.
• Ability to work cooperatively with diverse internal technical teams and external business partners.
• Excellent knowledge of English language (written and verbal).
• Flexibility to work in a 24/7 shift schedule.
• Relevant certifications are a plus.
