IT Network Administrator

As an IT Network Administrator at Müller's Solutions, you will be responsible for the smooth operation of our organization's network infrastructure. This role requires a proactive approach to network management, ensuring high availability, performance, and security of our network systems. You will work collaboratively with various teams to implement, configure, and maintain network services while troubleshooting any issues that arise.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor, configure, and maintain the organization's network hardware and software, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Troubleshoot and resolve network issues, ensuring minimal downtime and efficient performance.
• Implement network security measures to safeguard against data breaches and unauthorized access.
• Assist in planning and implementing network upgrades, expansions, and migrations to improve performance and reliability.
• Document network configurations, setups, and processes for future reference and compliance.
• Provide support for network-related inquiries from staff and end-users, offering excellent customer service.
• Stay up to date with the latest networking technologies and trends to continuously improve network performance and security.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 2-4 years of experience in network administration or a related IT role.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts, protocols, and technologies, including TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, and VLANs.
• Experience with configuring and managing network devices, such as routers, switches, and firewalls.
• Knowledge of network security practices and technologies, including VPNs and intrusion detection/prevention systems.
• Ability to troubleshoot and resolve network-related issues efficiently.
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with team members and users.
• Relevant certifications such as Cisco CCNA or CompTIA Network+ are a plus.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with cloud networking and infrastructure (AWS, Azure, etc.).
• Familiarity with network monitoring tools and software.
• Knowledge of wireless networking (802.11 standards) and VoIP technologies.
• CCNP certification or equivalent experience is advantageous.
• Skills in scripting or automation to enhance network management tasks.
