IT Manager (Remote/Hybrid)

We use MySigrid, our proprietary Collaboration & Task Management Platform, to solve tasks efficiently and collectively - improving quality, reducing human error, and increasing speed.

YOUR ROLE AS IT MANAGER

As an IT Manager, you will be responsible to:

• Lead and manage the development team, ensuring the timely delivery of high-quality software solutions.
• Oversee the design, development, and maintenance of web applications and databases.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope and objectives.
• Develop and implement coding standards, best practices, and quality assurance processes.
• Provide technical guidance and mentorship to team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
• Manage IT support operations, including troubleshooting and resolving technical issues.
• Ensure the security and integrity of our systems and data, implementing appropriate measures to protect against threats and vulnerabilities.
• Evaluate emerging technologies and trends, making recommendations for their integration into our systems and processes.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal teams and external vendors.
• Prepare and present reports, updates, and recommendations to senior management.
• Working knowledge in current technologies and trends, particularly in AI and machine learning, and identify opportunities for their integration into our business processes.

Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• More than 5 years of proven experience leading development teams and managing IT support operations.
• Familiarity with React, JavaScript, and SQL.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies, frameworks, and tools.
• Experience with web application development, database design, and cloud technologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Certifications such as Certified Scrum Master (CSM) or Project Management Professional (PMP)® Certification are a plus (but not required).

Co-Working days

MySigrid has co-working offices in BGC, Ortigas, and Makati where the whole team meets at least twice a month at a minimum.
