The Role
The IT Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of all technology-related initiatives within the organization. In this role, you ensure the stability, security, and efficiency of IT systems while supporting the strategic direction of the business.
In addition to overseeing internal infrastructure, you lead end-user support functions, delivering timely and high-quality technical services that enhance operational performance and client satisfaction.
You play a critical role in supporting systems that require seamless integration across flight operations, maintenance, planning, and corporate functions.
The ideal candidate combines strong technical expertise with leadership and project management skills to drive continuous improvement across IT operations and customer support delivery.
Key Responsibilities
Oversee daily IT operations, including network, systems, database administration, and user support functions, while analyzing performance and recommending improvements for efficiency and scalability.
Support cybersecurity strategies and compliance requirements by developing and implementing IT policies, procedures, and security protocols to protect company data, infrastructure, and systems integrity.
Manage vendor relationships, contracts, and service-level agreements to ensure compliance, performance, and data protection standards are met.
Plan, execute, and monitor technology projects, including cross-departments rollouts, ensuring timely delivery and alignment with organizational goals.
Maintain comprehensive documentation of systems, configurations, and processes to ensure transparency and business continuity.
Lead system evaluation, selection, and implementation for new platforms and tools, managing data migration and platform transitions with minimal disruption to operations.
Own the technology roadmap in partnership with leadership, prioritizing what gets built, integrated, or replaced, and when.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in IT management.
Strong knowledge of network infrastructure, cloud environments, ERP and integrated systems, and cybersecurity best practices.
Hands-on experience implementing, supporting, and optimizing technology platforms, including ERP migrations or major platform transitions.
Proficient with platforms such as Sage Intacct, Jet Insight, Ninety.io, BambooHR, SharePoint, Microsoft 365/Teams, Google Cloud.
Proven ability to manage multiple projects in a dynamic, cross-functional environment.
Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills with a proactive, service-oriented mindset.
Professional certifications such as CompTIA Security+, Microsoft 365 Certified, ITIL Foundation, or PMP.
Familiarity with data reconciliation and system consolidation processes.
