About the Role
We’re looking for an IT Manager that will support the execution of RNGD’s technology strategy by overseeing day-to-day IT operations, managing internal support teams, and ensuring reliable, secure, and scalable technology services across the organization. This role will translate the strategic initiatives into operational execution, ensure service excellence, and support continuous improvement of systems, infrastructure, and end-user experience.
Core Responsibilities
IT Operations & Service Delivery
Manage daily IT operations, including service desk functions, system administration, endpoint support, and application support.
Ensure timely resolution of Tier 1 and Tier 2 support requests, driving high levels of responsiveness and customer satisfaction.
Oversee incident, problem, and service request management to ensure accurate documentation, escalation, and resolution.
Maintain reliability, performance, and availability of core IT systems, tools, and services.
Ensure technology environments remain secure, compliant, and operationally stable.
Team Leadership & Development
Lead, mentor, and develop IT Support Specialists and Systems Administrators.
Set clear expectations, assign priorities, and provide coaching and feedback to ensure strong performance and professional growth.
Promote a service-oriented mindset across the IT team, emphasizing accountability, responsiveness, and user experience.
Support training initiatives and skill development to strengthen technical depth and coverage.
Document Control & Technical Support
Prepare, review, and forward submittals.
Confirm submittals comply with project plans and specifications.
Serve as a point person for document management applications and systems.
Assist in maintaining accurate and organized project records.
Systems, Infrastructure & Tools
Support the implementation, maintenance, and optimization of infrastructure including Microsoft 365, Active Directory, device management, networking, and collaboration tools.
Assist with deployment, configuration, and ongoing support of hardware, software, AV systems, and field technologies.
Monitor system health, usage, and performance, escalating risks or improvement opportunities to the IT Director.
Partner with the IT Director on technology upgrades, system enhancements, and lifecycle planning.
Process Improvement & Documentation
Develop, refine, and enforce IT operational procedures, standards, and documentation.
Identify opportunities to improve efficiency, reduce downtime, and enhance service delivery through process improvement and automation.
Ensure IT documentation, asset inventories, and system records are accurate and up to date.
Support continuous improvement initiatives across IT operations.
Collaboration & Communication
Collaborate with business units to understand operational challenges and provide technology solutions.
Support the IT Director in communicating technology initiatives, changes, and priorities across the organization.
Coordinate with vendors and service providers as needed to support operational needs.
Security, Compliance & Risk Awareness
Support enforcement of cybersecurity best practices, access controls, and acceptable use policies.
Ensure systems and processes align with company standards and regulatory requirements.
Assist with audits, assessments, and risk mitigation initiatives related to IT systems and data protection.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5+ years of progressive experience in IT operations, support, or systems administration.
Prior experience leading or supervising IT staff.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft 365, Active Directory, endpoint management, and IT service management tools.
Experience supporting a multi-location or construction-focused organization preferred.
Excellent communication, organization, and customer service skills.
Relevant certifications (CompTIA, Microsoft, ITIL) are a plus.
