We are seeking an experienced IT Manager who will also act as the Data Protection Officer (DPO). This role is responsible for overseeing the organization’s IT operations, leading technical teams, ensuring efficient incident and ticket management, and maintaining compliance with data protection regulations. The ideal candidate will combine strong leadership skills with hands-on technical expertise and a solid understanding of audit processes and data privacy.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee daily IT operations and ensure system availability, performance, and security
• Manage IT infrastructure, networks, and applications
• Ensure timely resolution of incidents, service requests, and technical issues
• Maintain and improve IT processes, policies, and documentation
• Lead, mentor, and develop the IT support and operations team
• Allocate tasks, monitor performance, and support professional growth
• Foster a collaborative and high-performance team environment
• Oversee ticketing systems and ensure SLAs are met
• Handle escalations and critical incidents
• Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues
• Implement continuous improvements in incident response processes
• Plan, coordinate, and lead internal and external IT audits
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations
• Identify risks and implement corrective actions
• Maintain audit documentation and reporting
• Ensure compliance with data protection laws (e.g., GDPR)
• Act as the main point of contact for data protection authorities
• Monitor data processing activities and ensure proper data handling
• Conduct data protection impact assessments (DPIAs)
• Provide guidance and training on data privacy across the organization
Requirements:
• Proven experience as an IT Manager or similar leadership role
• Strong knowledge of IT systems, infrastructure, and support processes
• Experience with IT audits and compliance frameworks
• Solid understanding of data protection regulations (GDPR preferred)
• Experience in managing ticketing systems and incident handling
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Strong leadership and communication abilities
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure
Advantages:
• Certifications such as ITIL, CISSP, CISM, or similar
• Experience in acting as a Data Protection Officer (DPO)
