OVERALL OBJECTIVES: As part of Eurofins Food, Feed and Agro Testing Europe’s IT Infrastructure Support Crew, the IT Infrastructure Service Operations Manager will play a key role in maintaining and transforming our IT infrastructure. This position requires expertise in managing L2 IT Infrastructure Support Crew and technical knowledge on Microsoft Azure, Server OS, Active Directory, Hyper-V, and related technologies. You will work closely with cross-functional IT Crews to ensure seamless operations, support projects, and drive new infrastructure implementations. A collaborative mindset and adaptability to a multicultural environment are essential for success. SPECIFIC ASSIGNMENTS : Organisation As a Leader of IT Infrastructure Support Crew for Eurofins Food, Feed and Agro Testing Europe, you will join a growing international Crew working on the maintenance of newly deployed Cloud services, servers, storage, backup and M365. Your role will be to manage the L2 Crew supporting Cloud and Compute services. You will collaborate with several different IT Support and Delivery Crews on daily basis. You will get an opportunity to drive Eurofins’ major IT Infrastructure transition and transformation across Food, Feed & Agro Testing Europe Businesses. Responsibilities Manage the L2 Operations Crew of Engineers located in India supporting Compute and Cloud IT Infrastructure. Maintain IT infrastructure, including but not limited to Microsoft Azure, Server OS, Active Directory, Hyper-V, storage and backup systems, ensuring the availability and performance of IT user zones and applications. Lead IT infrastructure transformation, integration, and migration projects across Eurofins' Food, Feed and Agro Testing businesses in Europe, focusing on system installations, configurations, and legacy system migrations. Collaborate with the IT Delivery and IT Solutions Crews to deliver integrated IT infrastructure as part of broader company projects, ensuring an end-to-end view of infrastructure management. This role presents the opportunity to contribute significantly to Eurofins' IT transformation journey, ensuring the success of our infrastructure operations across Europe. REQUIRED SKILLS: Experience in management of L2 Operations Support Crews. A minimum of 4 years of experience in server (both virtual and physical) infrastructure design, deployment, and transitions. Proficiency in Hyper-V technologies, including support for HA/DRS, Standard/Distributed switch, Resource Pools, and hardware sizing. Solid experience with the deployment and support of Windows Server 2016/2019/2022, including File servers, Active Directory, and M365. Hands-on experience with SCCM (System Center Configuration Manager). Familiarity with storage technologies, including Fiber Channel SAN and Fiber Channel Switch configuration. Experience with Windows Public Key Infrastructure (PKI), including offline root and subordinate configurations. Proficiency in utilizing monitoring tools to ensure system performance and availability. Designing KPIs, metrics and dashboards to understand Crew performance. Ability to Identify inefficiencies and implementing improvements. Preferred Skills & Knowledge: Experience with Azure technologies and proficiency in Ansible for Azure automation. Familiarity with ADFS (Active Directory Federation Services), NPS (Network Policy Server), and Web Application Proxy. Knowledge of multi-factor authentication systems. Understanding of Data Centre Operations and experience with tools like Site24x7 for system monitoring. Storage expertise with experience in both Small Zones (Dell) and Large Zones (NetApp). Education & Languages: Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English, as you will work in a highly international environment.
