The Infrastructure Manager is responsible for designing, managing, maintaining, and upgrading the organization’s technology infrastructure.
He ensure the availability, performance, security, and scalability of all IT systems, including networks, servers, cloud environments, data centers, and security components.
2. Key Responsibilities
A. IT Infrastructure Management
• Oversee servers, networks, storage systems, virtualization, and potential cloud platforms
• Ensure high availability and reliability of critical services.
• Manage data centers and server rooms.
B. Security & Compliance
• Lead cybersecurity policies (firewalls, antivirus, vulnerability management, audits).
• Supervise backups, business continuity (BCP), and disaster recovery plans (DRP).
• Ensure compliance with relevant standards (ISO 27001, etc…).
C. Team Leadership & Coordination
• Manage a team of system engineers, network engineers, support technicians, DevOps, etc.
• Prioritize critical incidents and coordinate technical interventions.
• Maintain relationships with vendors, service providers, and integration partners.
D. Projects & Continuous Improvement
• Drive modernization projects: cloud migration, network redesign, deployment of collaborative tools.
• Define and monitor infrastructure KPIs (SLA, uptime, performance).
• Optimize costs and propose a strategic technology roadmap.
Required Technical Skills
• System administration: Windows Server, Linux.
• Networking: LAN/WAN, VPN, Cisco, Fortinet, routing & switching.
• Cloud & virtualization: VMware, Hyper-V, Azure/AWS.
• Monitoring tools: Zabbix, Nagios, Centreon, Grafana.
• Cybersecurity: firewalls, IAM, SIEM, security audits.
• DevOps knowledge is a plus: Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD.

 Education & Experience
• Master’s degree or engineering degree in IT, networking, or computer systems.
• 5 to 10 years of experience in systems/network engineering or IT administration.
