In this role, you will maintain and optimize our technology systems, ensuring seamless operations and providing top-notch support to our users.

What you will do as our new IT Infrastructure and Support:

Maintain and Optimize Systems: Oversee the maintenance and optimization of IT systems, including servers, networks, and databases.

Technical Support: Provide technical support to users, resolving hardware and software issues promptly and efficiently.

System Upgrades and Fixes: Assist with system upgrades, patches, and fixes to ensure our technology infrastructure remains up-to-date and secure.

Monitoring and Troubleshooting: Monitor system performance, identify potential issues, troubleshoot problems to minimize downtime and monitor system and network performance metrics

Networking Support: Provide networking support for servers, including configuration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of network devices and connections.

Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed documentation of IT systems, processes, and support activities. Generate reports on system performance and support metrics.

What you need to succeed in that role:

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and 5+ years of experience in network and server administration

Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and databases. Proficiency in troubleshooting hardware and software issues.

Networking Knowledge: Solid understanding of networking principles, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN. Experience with configuring and managing network devices such as routers, switches, and firewalls.

Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose and resolve technical issues effectively.

Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with users and team members clearly and professionally.

Experience: Proven experience in IT infrastructure and support roles, with a track record of maintaining and optimizing technology systems.

Nice To Have:

Linux and Proxmox Skills: Experience with Linux operating systems and Proxmox virtualization platform.

Advanced Certifications: Additional certifications in specialized areas such as cybersecurity, cloud computing, or advanced networking.

Project Management Skills: Experience with project management methodologies and tools to oversee IT projects from inception to completion.

Knowledge of Industry Trends: Awareness of the latest trends and advancements in IT infrastructure and support to keep our systems cutting-edge.

Customer Service Orientation: A strong customer service mindset to ensure user satisfaction and positive interactions
