About the role 

We are strengthening our global IT capabilities and are looking for an IT Infrastructure and Operations Manager who will play a key role in managing a modern, secure and scalable technology environment for Innovad Group. This role is essential to ensuring that our people have the tools, systems and support they need to work effectively across countries and teams. You will take ownership of our Microsoft cloud ecosystem, enhance operational excellence, and help shape a proactive and business minded IT function that enables growth, collaboration and security across the organisation. 

This is a hybrid role that can be based in either of our offices: Antwerp or Essen.

Key Responsibilities 

Infrastructure & Cloud Management 

Manage and maintain cloud-based infrastructure with a strong focus on the Microsoft ecosystem (Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune, Defender) 

Ensure stability, performance and availability of core IT service including identity, endpoint management, collaboration tools and security solutions. 

Oversee configuration, administration and continuous improvement of M365 workloads (Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive) 

Security & Compliance 

Maintain a proactive security posture across devices, identities, cloud services, and networks. 

Implement and enforce security baselines, policies, MFA, conditional access, secure device configurations, and hardening standards.  

Monitor system health, performance, and security alerts, ensuring timely remediation and escalation when required. 

Device & Asset Lifecycle Management 

Oversee IT hardware procurement in partnership with external IT service providers (laptops). 

Manage the full lifecycle of IT assets, including inventory accuracy, device assignments, replacements and retirements. 

Ensure cost-efficient purchasing, standardised device configurations and timely renewals. 

User Lifecycle 

Manage the IT components of onboarding and offboarding, including account creation, license management, device preparation, access setup and revocations. 

Ensure smooth, consistent and compliant processes in collaboration with HR. 

General & Communication 

Represent the team confidently in English, ensuring professional and effective communication with stakeholders. 

Organize tasks based on business priority and keep delivery timelines visible 

Set and manage expectations proactively so everyone knows what will be delivered and when 

Available for international travel to support team alignment, deployment activities, and key business priorities. 

Continuous Improvement 

Identify opportunities to optimise IT operations, automate workflows and strengthen security and compliance posture. 

Contribute to IT Roadmap execution and support projects across the organisation. 

Ensure that IT practices align with company strategy, operational needs and best-practice frameworks. 

What we’re looking for 

Proven experience in Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Defender, Intune in SMB environment. 

Strong knowledge of security & compliance frameworks such as Zero Trust, MITRE ATT&CK. 

High level of accuracy and the ability to manage priorities effectively. 

Business-oriented mindset with the ability to link IT processes to organizational goals. 

Excellent communication and organizational skills. 

Fluent in English and Dutch; additional languages are a plus. 

Ability to work independently and collaboratively with different departments and levels of the organisation.
