IT Infrastructure Administrator / Reliability Engineer (On Behalf of Client)

We are partnering with a UAE Federal Government Entity to help fill the following vacancy: IT Infrastructure Administrator / Reliability Engineer

This is a full-time position that will be directly employed by our client, not Whiteshield. Our role is solely to assist in the recruitment process-further details will be provided upon the successful shortlisting of applicants.

Role Overview

Operate and secure an on-premise Kubernetes platform (VMware Tanzu) supporting critical public digital services, with strong focus on reliability and security hardening.

Key Responsibilities

• Administer Kubernetes (Tanzu) and containerized workloads

• Manage core components: Harbor, HashiCorp Vault, Redis, NGINX/load balancing

• Monitor systems and logs (ELK stack)

• Lead security hardening and vulnerability remediation

• Support CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps)

• Ensure high availability, backup, and disaster recovery

Requirements:
Required Skills & Experience

• Strong Kubernetes administration and container orchestration

• Experience with VMware Tanzu and on-prem environments

• Hands-on with Harbor, Vault, Redis, NGINX, ELK

• Proven experience in infrastructure security hardening

• Experience with CI/CD (Azure DevOps)
