About the Role
We are a rapidly expanding UK-based technology firm developing a cutting-edge regulatory compliance platform for the life sciences sector. As we grow internationally, we seek a proactive and strategic IT Infrastructure Lead to take ownership of and enhance our technology infrastructure — covering endpoint management, cloud systems, security, and compliance. This role demands high responsibility and is ideal for someone who excels in a lean, trust-driven environment.
Requirements:
Responsibilities
• Take full ownership of the IT infrastructure, covering cloud environments, endpoint management, networking, and SaaS platforms for operations in India and the UK.
• Set up, administer, and support Windows and macOS systems, including device lifecycle management, provisioning, patching, and remote assistance across various locations.
• Manage Mobile Device Management (MDM) platforms such as Microsoft Intune and Jamf to enforce policies, handle remote provisioning, and ensure device compliance.
• Oversee the Microsoft 365 suite — Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint, Teams — including responsibilities for identity governance, Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM).
• Develop and implement a Zero Trust security model incorporating MFA, SSO, endpoint security, and access control policies.
• Supervise and evaluate security posture using tools like Microsoft Defender Suite, Sentinel (SIEM), and vulnerability management solutions.
• Lead incident response, security monitoring, and IT risk management processes aligned with ISO 27001, SOC 2, and GDPR standards.
• Manage network infrastructure components such as SD-WAN, VPN, DNS, DHCP, and firewall configurations (Cisco, Palo Alto, Fortinet).
• Administer and optimize essential SaaS platforms related to HR, CRM, and productivity, including managing integrations and vendor relationships.
• Work closely with DevOps and engineering teams on CI/CD pipelines, cloud infrastructure, and IT automation initiatives.
• Drive automation efforts using PowerShell, Python, or Microsoft Power Platform to reduce manual tasks and enhance system reliability.
• Handle IT budgeting, vendor contracts, procurement, and asset management.
• Maintain IT policies, documentation, and audit readiness to comply with life sciences regulatory standards.

• Automation: PowerShell, Python, Power Platform, understanding of CI/CD, collaboration with DevOps teams.
Preferred Qualifications
• Experience with Microsoft Copilot and Microsoft 365 AI productivity tools.
• Familiarity with Azure Virtual Desktop or Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) solutions.
• Knowledge of IT Service Management platforms such as ServiceNow or Jira.
• Background working in SaaS product companies or startup environments.
• Understanding of GxP and life sciences IT compliance requirements.
