About the Job

We are looking for an IT Support Engineer who wants to move beyond the standard ticket queue. In this role, you will be a pillar of our internal IT operations, providing high-level support while simultaneously leading strategic projects.

This is a role for someone who wants to "jump out of scope," take ownership of complex technical challenges.

Requirements:
Core Responsibilities

• IT Service Management & Operations: Provide advanced remove resolution for a global, remote team, focusing on root cause analysis and a "person-first" service delivery approach.
• Strategic System Scaling: Partner with the Head of IT to design, execute, and document projects that scale our global IT infrastructure, focusing on efficiency, stability, and standardization across all corporate endpoints and services.
• SaaS Infrastructure Ownership: Take full ownership of key operational systems, including administration, optimization, and life-cycle management for: Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, AWS, Descope, Atlassian Suite (JIRA/Confluence), Notion, and GitHub. This includes critical functions like Identity and Access Management (IAM) and Single Sign-On (SSO) integration.
• Security & Compliance Engineering: Maintain operational adherence to ISO frameworks. Implement and manage endpoint security, including Mobile Device Management (MDM), enterprise password solutions, and regular access audits to enforce Zero Trust principles.
• Automation & AI Innovation: Proactively identify manual processes and leverage modern AI tools and scripting (e.g., Python, PowerShell, shell scripting) to automate workflows, reduce operational toil, and enhance overall IT delivery speed.

Technical Essentials

• Cloud & SaaS Administration: Expert-level proficiency in administering and securing major SaaS platforms, specifically Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Strong experience with Identity and Access Management (IAM) and cloud-based file/storage solutions.
• Tooling & Governance: Deep working knowledge of JIRA/Confluence administration and configuration. Proven ability to manage complex organizational and permission structures within platforms like Notion and GitHub (including SSO setup and repository access control)
• Modern Security: Solid knowledge of MDM solutions (JumpCloud), enterprise password management (1Password)
• Experience operating within formal security standards like ISO 27001. Understanding of endpoint detection and response (EDR) concepts.
• Automation & Scripting: Demonstrated ability to use AI tools for task automation and productivity. Practical experience with basic scripting (e.g., PowerShell, Bash, or Python) to automate common administrative and maintenance
