Position Summary
The IT Director of the Managed Service Organization (MSO) under the holding company is responsible for overseeing the IT operations and strategies of multiple subsidiaries. This role requires a visionary leader with comprehensive experience in IT management, cyber security, and service delivery to ensure robust and secure information technology environments across all organizational units.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Oversees the management of the organization's IT resources, which encompasses the formulation and implementation of the company's IT budget.
Leadership and Strategy: Develop and implement IT strategies that align with the holding company’s goals, ensuring each subsidiary’s IT needs are met efficiently and effectively.
IT Operations Management: Oversee the daily operations of the IT departments across multiple companies, ensuring seamless service delivery and operational excellence.
Cyber Security: Establish and maintain comprehensive cyber security protocols to safeguard the organization’s data and IT infrastructure against potential threats and vulnerabilities.
Project Management: Lead IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely delivery, budget adherence, and quality standards.
Resource Allocation: Manage the allocation of IT resources across various departments and subsidiaries to optimize performance and efficiency.
Vendor Management: Negotiate and manage relationships with external vendors and service providers to ensure the best value and service quality.
Compliance and Risk Management: Ensure all IT operations and strategies comply with industry regulations and standards, mitigating risks effectively.
Team Development: Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the IT teams, encouraging innovation and collaboration.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the IT budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and expenditures.
Reporting and Analytics: Provide regular reports and analytics to the executive team on IT performance, security status, and project progress.

Position Requirements

Education and Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field is required; a Master’s degree is preferred.
A minimum of 8 – 10 years of progressive IT experience, including at least 5 years in a leadership role managing cross-functional IT teams and complex projects.
Proven track record of aligning IT initiatives with business goals, managing budgets, and leading digital transformation.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
Advanced expertise in IT systems, infrastructure, and emerging technologies, with a strategic mindset for future innovation.
Strong leadership and interpersonal skills to build, develop, and manage high-performing IT teams.
Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences and align stakeholders on IT strategies.
Demonstrated ability to deliver large-scale IT projects within budget, scope and deadlines.
Knowledge of IT governance, cybersecurity practices, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Physical and Environmental Demands
Office position in a production environment may be exposed to noise levels, dust and/or grime. Must wear appropriate personal protective equipment when required. Office environment with computers, printers, typing and normal conversation.
