Under the direction the Team Leader, IT Systems – NA, IT Desktop Services Administrator will provide best in class support to internal stakeholders. The IT Desktop Services Administrator will use automation technologies to deploy end points. The role will document and perform administrative tasks such as purchasing, and inventory and asset management. Flexibility to provide additional IT support and services, where needed, is required.
B. Responsibilities (essential to the position)
1. Experience with Windows 7, Win 10, OSX, and Linux environments
2. Familiar with IT systems.
3. Knowledge of Microsoft O365 and applications, Microsoft SharePoint
4. Assess IT infrastructure on a regular basis to ensure it continues to meet necessary demands -- including email, network maintenance, security, hardware management, etc.
5. Assist with installation of new hardware + software and help train employees on use.
6. Excellent troubleshooting and problem solving abilities.
7. Ability to work independently and in a cohesive team with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
8. Expertise in desktop, laptop, printer, and multiple mobile platforms.
9. Passionate and enthusiastic about IT technology. Self-motivation is a must.
10. Passionate about IT and learning new technologies,
11. On-call rotation for support of systems outside of normal business hours as well as, occasionally require being available to perform maintenance during non-business hours and over weekends.
12. Intermediate networking knowledge preferred. VPN, Firewall, Router, switch technologies.
B. Requirements:
1. Industry background:
· 3+ Years of Information Technology Background
2. Knowledge and skills:
· 3+ Years providing enterprise level desktop support
3. Education / Training:
· Bachelors in CS or equivelent, or 5+ Years industry experience
Industry Certifications a plus (ie Microsoft, Cisco)
4. Competencies:
· Proven track record of maintaining IT structural integrity.
· Intermediate networking knowledge preferred. VPN, Firewall, Router, switch technologies
