PRIORITY, one of the largest and fastest growing Management and IT consulting firms in Greece, is currently looking for an IT Consultant in the Banking Sector to join our team on behalf of our client.

The IT Consultant role is a fantastic opportunity for individuals looking to kick-start or advance their careers in IT consulting, specifically within the banking sector. In this position, you will be responsible for assisting in the design, development, and implementation of IT processes and solutions tailored to the needs of our banking clients. You will work closely with experienced consultants and banking employees, gaining valuable insights and hands-on experience on projects related to ITSM processes and IT Governance systems.
As an IT Consultant, you will contribute to analyzing business requirements, developing IT processes, providing technical support and guidance, ensuring that IT processes and solutions meet the highest quality and performance standards. You will have the chance to learn about the latest technologies and methodologies while collaborating with a dynamic team committed to delivering excellent results.
Key Responsibilities:
• Assist in analyzing business requirements and creating specifications for IT projects.
• Support the implementation of IT solutions, ensuring alignment with the Bank’s needs and banking standards.
• Work closely with other IT teams, stakeholders, and business units to align processes with ITIL best practices.
• Participate in testing and validating software applications and systems integrations.
• Contribute to documentation efforts, including workflows, procedures, guidelines, user manuals and training materials.
• Participate in the analysis of processes to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for automation and improvement leveraging the use IT Governance tools to improve process efficiency.
• Work closely with senior consultants and team members to develop project plans and timelines.
Requirements:
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration or a related field.
• Previous internship or project experience in IT consulting or the banking sector is a plus.
• Strong analytical skills and a keen interest in technology.
• Strong organizational and presentation skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Additionally, preferred qualifications include:
• Basic understanding of ΙTIL framework.
• Familiarity with banking systems and technologies.
• Familiarity with ISO standards.
• Experience with ITSM tools (e.g., SMAX, ServiceNow, BMC Remedy) will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of software development methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
• Professional qualifications such as ITIL, BPMN or Prince 2 will be considered a plus.
