Job Description

The Bosch Group is a leading global supplier of technology and services, in the areas of automotive and industrial technology, consumer goods as well as building technology. 

Bosch established its first representative office in Ho Chi Minh City in 1994. Since 2007, Bosch has expanded its footprint in Vietnam where it has branch offices in Hanoi and Da Nang, as well as a Powertrain Solutions plant in the Dong Nai province to manufacture pushbelts for continuously variable transmissions (CVT) in automobiles. In addition, Bosch operates Bosch Global Software Technologies Vietnam (BGSV) as well as an automotive R&D center for mobility solutions in Ho Chi Minh City. As of December 31 2023, Bosch employed approximately 6,300 associates in Vietnam. Bosch has diversified businesses in Vietnam. Today, all four Bosch business sectors, namely Mobility Solutions, Industrial Technology, Consumer Goods, and Energy and Building Technology have operations in the country. Bosch Vietnam is currently active with many business divisions: Mobility Aftermarket, Drive and Control Technology, Power Tools, Building Technology, Two-Wheeler and Powersports and Sales Original Equipment, AquaEasy, Home Appliances and Supply Chain Consulting.

1. IT Business Partnership & Stakeholder Management

• Act as the primary IT interface and trusted advisor for local business stakeholders, management teams, and department heads.
• Understand business priorities, operational pain points, and digitalization opportunities, translating them into practical and scalable IT solutions.
• Drive strong collaboration across Bosch Digital regional teams, business functions, vendors, and external partners.
• Facilitate alignment between local business requirements and Bosch Digital global standards, roadmaps, and governance models.
• Lead IT governance reviews, service steering meetings, and stakeholder communications.
• Promote IT as a strategic business enabler and trusted partner rather than a support-only organization.

2. Location IT Operations & Service Delivery

• Own end-to-end IT operations and service delivery for assigned Bosch locations.
• Ensure stable, secure, and high-quality workplace IT services supporting productivity and business continuity.
• Govern incident, request, escalation, problem, and change management processes in alignment with ITIL practices and enterprise SLAs.
• Coordinate field services, workplace technologies, infrastructure support, and local application support activities.
• Monitor operational KPIs, service quality, risks, and customer satisfaction metrics.
• Drive operational maturity, standardization, automation, and continuous service improvement initiatives.
• Ensure effective lifecycle management of IT assets, workplace devices, and local infrastructure services.

3. Digital Transformation & Power Platform Enablement

• Lead local digitalization and automation initiatives leveraging Microsoft Power Platform technologies including:• Power Apps
• Power Automate
• Power BI
• SharePoint Integration
• AI/Copilot-related solutions

• Partner with business stakeholders to identify automation opportunities and optimize operational workflows.
• Support low-code/no-code governance, solution lifecycle management, and adoption strategies.
• Drive data visibility, reporting capabilities, and productivity improvements through digital solutions.
• Promote innovation mindset and continuous improvement culture within local business environments.

4. IT Financial Management & Cost Transparency

• Drive transparency of IT operational costs, service consumption, and allocation models.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, resource planning, and demand management activities.
• Provide management visibility on IT service utilization, operational trends, and value contribution.
• Identify opportunities for cost optimization, operational efficiency, and standardization while maintaining service quality.
• Coordinate vendor management, service reviews, and contract-related operational governance.

5. Governance, Security & Compliance

• Ensure compliance with Bosch Digital governance, cybersecurity, audit, and risk management requirements.
• Support local governance initiatives related to IT security, IT/OT coordination, operational risk, and audit readiness.
• Coordinate with cybersecurity, ISP, OTR, and regional governance stakeholders where required.
• Support implementation of secure and compliant workplace and infrastructure operations.
• Contribute to crisis management, operational resilience, and business continuity activities.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related discipline.
• Minimum 7+ years of experience in:• IT Operations
• Infrastructure Services
• IT Service Delivery
• Business-facing IT leadership
• Workplace Services

• Proven experience operating within multinational or matrix organizations.
• Strong stakeholder management and communication capabilities across technical and business leadership levels.
• Solid understanding of:• IT Service Management (ITIL)
• IT Governance
• Cybersecurity & Risk Management
• Operational Support Models

• Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power Platform and digital workflow automation.
• Experience managing vendors, service providers, and cross-functional teams.

Preferred Qualifications

• ITIL Foundation or ITIL Managing Professional certification.
• PMP, Agile, Scrum, or related project management certifications.
• Experience in manufacturing, engineering, logistics, or enterprise shared-service environments.
• Familiarity with:• ServiceNow
