Using primarily an SAP platform, the Competence Center ensures Continental’s Sales, Logistics and Central Functions organizations stay on the leading edge of all things digital. From managing service requests to developing the latest solutions and systems, we are the tech foundation of these organizations.

In this exciting job you work on the following tasks:

• Coordinating new B2B implementations (especially time - and business - critical OE requests), handling SAP configuration, mapping specification design, communication with internal and external partners, ensuring compliance with internal rules, standards and governance;
• Supporting existing and new solutions on a daily basis;
• Consulting business for new and existing solutions;
• Leading EDI-specific projects and participating in cross-department projects (e.g., S/4 HANA);
• Continuous improvements of processes and technical solutions;
• Participating in conferences (e.g., VDA/ ODETTE), providing input for future B2B communication standards.

• Academic degree in Computer Science or another technical field / equivalent qualification;
• Multiple years of experience in coordinating B2B integrations;
• Comprehensive knowledge of SAP EDI, thorough functional knowledge of SAP SD and general functional knowledge of SAP MM;
• Comprehensive knowledge of EDI standards (e.g., EDIFACT, VDA, ANSI) as well as EDI configurations in SAP;
• Working experience in a manufacturing company, ideally automotive or automotive supplier sector (is a plus);
• Project management skills/ experience;
• Keen attention to detail;
• Professional working proficiency in English (written; spoken).
