We are seeking an IT Business Analyst to support software development and business automation initiatives. This role focuses on understanding business needs, translating them into clear functional requirements, and working closely with technical teams to ensure successful delivery of IT solutions.

The position is ideal for individuals who can effectively bridge business users and technology teams and are interested in being involved across the full project lifecycle—from requirements gathering to implementation.

Requirements:
Key Responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders and clients to gather, analyze, and validate business requirements
• Review existing systems and business processes to identify gaps, risks, and improvement opportunities
• Document requirements in a clear and structured manner, including:
• Business Requirement Documents (BRD)
• Functional Requirement Documents (FRD)
• Process flows, user journeys, and use cases

• Act as a liaison between business users and development teams to ensure shared understanding
• Support solution design discussions by articulating functional expectations
• Assist development teams by clarifying requirements and addressing functional queries
• Participate in system testing activities, including preparation and execution of test cases
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and implementation phases
• Track changes to requirements and maintain accurate, up-to-date documentation

Required Skills & Competencies

• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English
• Solid understanding of IT systems, software development, and business workflows
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent documentation skills with attention to detail
• Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Comfort working in a client-facing role

Preferred Skills (Nice to Have)

• Exposure to SDLC methodologies such as Agile or Waterfall
• Experience with tools like JIRA, Confluence, Zoho, or similar platforms
• Basic understanding of databases or SQL
• Prior experience, internship, or project exposure as a Business Analyst or within IT projects

Educational Qualification

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
• MBA or PG Diploma in Business Analysis / Systems is an added advantage
