We are seeking a skilled Business Analyst with experience in App Dev and Infrastructure to join our team and drive process improvement in our IT infrastructure. The ideal candidate should have a strong foundation in DBs and Client servers and be able to work with technical resources to gather requirements and create BRD and FRD. Experience working in a fast-paced environment with a Fortune 100 financial services organization is highly preferred.

Job Description

Fortune 100 financial services organization that is the leading retirement provider for people who work in the academic, research, medical and cultural fields.

· Looking for a Business Analyst to work on a project to make process improvement to infrastructure in order to ensure quicker releases.

· Resource will work with technical resources to gather requirements and turn those into BRD and FRD.

· Financial Services experience highly preferred.

· Resource must be Onsite

· Ideal person would have work in App Dev and exposure or work with Infrastructure (DBs and Client servers).

QUALIFICATIONS:

· Strong knowledge of BRDs and FRDs

· Recognizes strategic implications of problems and issues.

· Assists in developing initiatives on process/workflow improvements and program/policy changes

· Performs complex analysis and is able to resolve issues.

· Looks beyond symptoms to identify causes of problems and potential trends.

· Develops and assists in implementing initiatives on process/workflow improvements and program/policy changes.

· Provides guidance to more junior staff.

· Knowledge of client servers, web services, Microsoft suite,

· Excellent Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.)

· Exposure to application development and infrastructure

MUST HAVES:

· Financial/Banking Background

· Excellent Communication Skills

· Exposure to infrastructure related and application development projects

· Knowledge of SOA (Service Oriented Architecture), DB’s, Client-Server

· Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science
