A Day in the Life The Business Analyst job family includes roles that are responsible for collecting and interpreting data to help the business take actionable steps to improve their performance and meet goals. There are six knowledge areas for the business analyst: Business Analysis Planning and Monitoring. Elicitation and Collaboration. Requirements Life Cycle Management. Strategy Analysis. Requirements Analysis and Design Definition. Solution Evaluation This role is a Hybrid position, and candidates will need to be in Bogota, Colombia to be considered. Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned: Collaborate directly with business partners to understand business strategies, the individual needs of the business, turning those needs into documented use cases and requirements for process and / or systems improvements Analyze current business processes and make recommendations for improvement based on industry trends and professional business knowledge Improve training and operational procedures within a business to increase efficiency and productivity Use a variety of facilitation methods to solicit information gathering across business and technical teams Use a variety of data analysis and organization tools to discover the most impactful insights Engage in project delivery overseeing the implementation of requirements from beginning to completion Provides business expertise for solution evaluation, system functional specifications and solution delivery. May plan and execute user acceptance testing to ensure business requirements are met. May facilitate cross-functional linked teams to address business or systems issues May analyze process performance and operational metrics and provide efficiency and usage recommendations Require d Knowledge and Experience : Bachelor’s degree Highly proficient in English Minimum of two years of related experience Knowledge of specialized software applications utilized within this team, including: ServiceNow PowerBI SAP/data analysis Physical Job Requirements The above statements are intended to describe the general nature and level of work being performed by employees assigned to this position, but they are not an exhaustive list of all the required responsibilities and skills of this position.
