IT Auditor - German Speaking

My client, based in Hamburg, is a multinational force within the manufacturing arena. With the development and expansion of oversees operations in the last 12 months, there has been an opportunity to create an IT Audit specific team in order to service their operations in on a global scale.

The specific requirements for this role are geared more toward a candidate with solid audit experience and technical background, demonstrating a good working knowledge of programmes such as ACL, SAP, IDEA and TeamMate.

Ideally the candidate will have proven these qualities in a commercial or industrial environment, however applicants with a financial services background should still apply if they have the ability to demonstrate their technical aptitude.

The role itself will centre around continuous development, improvement and implementation of IT Audit processes. The ability to analyse risk and confidently put forward solutions will be essential in this role, as well as data analysis and presentation – and with reporting to be produced to director level and indeed to the audit committee, a strong minded and professional personality is required.

A flexible approach to travel will be necessary, with a commitment of around 30% expected from the right individual.
