Job Description

The IT Architect for Engineering Applications will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing the IT infrastructure and systems that support engineering department across the organization. This role requires an individual with deep knowledge of engineering software tools and processes, as well as the ability to align IT solutions with engineering needs to optimize performance and efficiency.

• Architecture Design: Lead the design and implementation of IT infrastructure for engineering applications, ensuring alignment with the company’s business goals and technical requirements.
• System Integration: Oversee the integration of various engineering applications (CAD, CAM, PLM, etc.) into the enterprise IT ecosystem.
• Solution Delivery: Deliver scalable, secure, and reliable engineering IT solutions to support the design, manufacturing, and testing processes.
• Collaboration with Stakeholders: Work closely with engineering teams to understand business needs and translate them into technical solutions.
• Technology Strategy: Provide leadership in technology selection, ensuring the adoption of best practices in engineering systems and tools.
• Innovation and Continuous Improvement: Evaluate emerging technologies and industry trends, recommending improvements to engineering application systems and processes.
• Data Management: Oversee the management of engineering data, ensuring data integrity, security, and compliance with relevant standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (Master’s preferred).
• Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in IT architecture, specifically supporting engineering applications.
• Proficiency with engineering tools such as CAD, CAM, PLM, ERP integration, and manufacturing execution systems.
• Strong knowledge of system integration and architecture principles.
• Experience in cloud technologies, system security, and data management.
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
