About the role:
We’re looking for an experienced IT Application & Support Engineer to join our Auckland head office, reporting to our Director of IT. You’ll be a key part of our IT team, partnering and working closely with a third-party provider to manage our wider IT needs. This role will ensure our IT systems run smoothly and that our people enjoy a seamless day to day technology experience. Other responsibilities include:
Supporting new starters and leavers with IT setup and access
Being the main point of contact for IT issues on site and working with external vendors to resolve them
Helping deliver IT projects and improvements, including cloud and enterprise systems
Creating simple, helpful user guides and delivering IT training when needed
Keeping an eye on IT service performance and suggesting better ways of doing things
Helping with monthly reporting across IT activity, projects, and cybersecurity
What you’ll bring:
You’ll have a relevant IT qualification and at least 3 years’ experience in a similar IT role. You enjoy helping people, improving how technology is used, and making IT feel easy and accessible. You’ll also have:
Solid experience with Microsoft 365, Teams, SharePoint, ERP systems, and cloud platforms
Experience working with vendors, supporting projects, and training users
Great communication skills and the confidence to work with people at all levels
Knowledge of networks, security, and backup solutions
A working understanding of project tools and ways of working
