We have openings for the position of "IT Application Developer-Technical Specialist” for a reputed MNC client for Pune location

Job title: IT Application Developer-Technical Specialist

Job Location: Pune

Qualification : BE, B.Tech (IT/CS)

Experience : Overall experience of 7-10 Yrs in IT (Of which minimum 6 yrs of software development experience in SAP related environment)

Job Description

• Design & Develop (Consults with functional teams in creating functional specifications and work estimates, Designs software solutions for specific user needs, Develops business software applications on the basis of functional specifications, Analyses performance gaps of existing software environment and proposes measures to address efficiency problems.
• Analyzes programs and defines actions necessary to change logic functions, Designs and realizes interfaces between business applications)
• Projects (Work in project environments auch as migration and implementation)
• Testing & Support (Performs bug verification and testing (unit ~/ function ~/ regression tests, Provides technical support for business applications (standard software and custom development), Ensures change documentation, Plans and releases upgrades)
• Coaching (Support other developers by coaching and mentoring)

Tasks

• Understand the business requirements of the functional teams and translate them to application design
• Develop & test code in complex SAP environments
• Participate in global projects, such as SAP implementations (rollouts) and others
• Assist other developers by coaching and mentoring
• Conceptualize and design solutions for business problems
• Opportunity to lead a team of developers and junior developers

Mandatory Skills

• Strong skills in programming and software design
• Programming experience in object oriented ABAP
• Hands-on experience in at least 3 of the following: ALE / iDOC / BAPI / enhancements / user exits / forms / WebDynpro / UI5
• Experience in software development & experience in SAP related environment

Additional Skills

• 2-3 full cycle SAP implementation projects will be an added advantage
• Experience in SAP HANA experience will be an added advantage

Soft Skills

• Strong analytical, communication and presentation skills
• Fluency in English language (both written and verbal)
• Good team management skills
• Withstanding pressure, high on energy and passionate to accomplish ambitious project goals
