Your job – Your passion:
• Primary responsibility for 1st‑level helpdesk operations, receiving and prioritising incoming user requests, assessing impact and urgency, and driving each case toward timely resolution or escalation as required
• Administration of user accounts and permissions, performing password resets, provisioning and deprovisioning access in Active Directory and Office 365, and coordinating access changes with security and application owners
• Maintenance and commenting on Jira tickets, documenting troubleshooting steps and outcomes, keeping ticket statuses current, and following up on open cases until closure or escalation to higher support tiers
• Troubleshooting software and hardware incidents, performing initial diagnostics and reproductions when possible, and collaborating closely with 2nd and 3rd level teams to implement fixes or recommended workarounds
• Building and configuring PCs and hardware, performing full workspace setup including peripherals, VPN configuration and email/calendar client setup, and preparing workstations for new hires and replacements
• Documenting solutions and standard workflows, contributing to a shared knowledge base, and supporting inventory and asset management activities to ensure accurate device and license tracking
Your profile – Your strengths:
• Experience in 1st‑level support or helpdesk environments, comfortable handling a mix of reactive user requests and proactive support tasks
• Confident handling of Windows clients, ideally with additional knowledge of macOS and Linux, plus practical experience administering Active Directory and Office 365 environments
• Familiarity with ticketing tools such as Jira Service Management or similar systems, including ticket lifecycle management and communication best practices
• Basic understanding of networking concepts, VPN technologies and common peripheral hardware such as printers and docking stations, with the ability to perform initial troubleshooting
• Service‑oriented mindset with strong communication skills in German at C1 level and good command of English for collaboration across teams
• Structured documentation and problem‑solving abilities, demonstrating clarity in technical writing and a collaborative, team‑oriented working style
