About the Role
Abilities, LLC is seeking an experienced, accountable, and principled ISL House Manager to lead an Individual Supported Living (ISL) home supporting 1 individual with very high medical needs and 2 individuals with moderate needs. This position is the primary on-site leadership role for the home and is responsible for staff supervision, medical coordination, compliance, and overall quality of care. This is a true leadership position.
Compensation
$24.00/hour minimum
Higher starting wage available based on relevant experience, medical complexity experience, and supervisory background
Minimum Qualifications (Required)
At least 2 years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities
At least 1 year of supervisory experience, including staff accountability and oversight
Demonstrated understanding of:
Leadership and professional boundaries

Integrity and ethical decision-making
Discretion and sound judgment
Ability to lead calmly and confidently in a medically complex environment
Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Ability to pass all required background checks and registries
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Staff Supervision
Supervise, coach, and support Direct Support Professionals assigned to the home
Set clear expectations and address performance, attendance, and professionalism concerns
Model integrity, professionalism, and respectful communication
Handle confidential, medical, and personnel matters with discretion
Medical & Individual Oversight
Ensure implementation of Person-Centered Service Plans (PCSPs) and delegated nursing tasks
Oversee safe mobility support, transfers, positioning, equipment use, and infection control
Coordinate with Nursing on medications, health changes, and medical follow-up
Balance health and safety needs with dignity, autonomy, and quality of life
Scheduling & On-Call
Monday–Friday primary schedule with rotating on-call weekends
Participate in scheduling and coverage coordination
Serve as ISL Management On-Call for the home as scheduled
Prepare the home and staff for weekends, including medical needs, supplies, and staffing clarity
Respond to calls, texts, and Google Chat communications within required timeframes
Compliance & Documentation
Ensure accurate and timely documentation in required systems
Review MARs, logs, and incident reports for accuracy and completeness
Report incidents, medical concerns, and safety issues per policy
Maintain audit readiness
Training & Support
All training is provided by Abilities, LLC
Training time is paid, and all training costs are covered
Training is conducted in-house at our Warrensburg office (no travel required)
Includes CPR/First Aid, LIMA, MANDT, HIPAA, Abuse & Neglect, and delegated nursing tasks (as applicable)
