Irrigation Technician

We are seeking a passionate and skilled team player to join our Irrigation Department to assist with all aspects of irrigation and low-voltage lighting services.

As part of the Irrigation team at John Mini, you will be responsible for:

Assisting with irrigation and lighting installations, repairs, startups, and shutdowns

Supporting the Supervisor with daily service needs across client sites

Maintaining a clean and organized job site at all times

Communicating client requests and site observations to supervisors and account managers

Operating common hand tools and small equipment safely

Documenting services performed and materials used

Assisting other departments when needed

Who we are looking for:

Someone with 2-4 years of experience. 

Someone who enjoys working outdoors and in all weather conditions

Someone with a strong work ethic and eye for detail

Someone who is comfortable learning on the job and solving problems hands-on

Someone seeking a place to grow long-term and contribute to a mission-driven team

If you have the following qualifications, give us a shout!

Basic understanding of irrigation systems

Strong communication skills

Valid NY/NJ driver’s license preferred

Comfortable with physical work including lifting up to 75 lbs, bending, kneeling, and climbing

Prior irrigation or landscape experience is a plus
